The Cub Scout Pack

Your boy is a member of a den. A den consists of 6 to 10 boys of the same grade level who meet once a week. A den leader (a Scout’s parent) is in charge of activities, including games, crafts, songs and lots of fun.

Your boy is a member of a pack. A pack consists of several dens and meets once a month. The Cubmaster leads pack meetings, with Cub Scouts and their families in attendance. The pack meeting includes fun activities, as well as the presentation of awards that have been earned that month.

The pack is run by the pack committee. The pack committee is a group of adults (usually parents of boys in the pack) appointed by the chartered organization to administer the pack’s program.
